TWO men have been arrested after a female security guard was targeted in an Ipswich street.

The pair have been detained on suspicion of robbery following the incident in Nacton Road.

It is understood the alleged robbery took place close to The Thrasher pub.

Suffolk police were alerted at around 10.55am.

A member of a security company called the force, reporting having a money box stolen.

The 24-year-old man from Ipswich and the 25-year-old man from London are currently being questioned by detectives at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101.’
