THE founder of the Wikileaks website, Julian Assange, is due to hold a 40th birthday lunch in north Suffolk today.
Mr Assange is holding his birthday celebrations at Ellingham Hall, near Bungay, ahead of an extradition hearing on Tuesday.
Rumours are rife that movie super star Brad Pitt and his actress wife Angelina Jolie and US Vogue editor Anna Wintour will be attending the party.
Mr Assange has been staying at Ellingham Hall since December as part of bail conditions over allegations that he sexually assaulted one woman and raped another during a week-long visit to Stockholm in August.
He is due to appear at the High Court on Tuesday to appeal against attempts to extradite him to Sweden.
Ellingham Hall is owned by Capt Vaughan Smith, founder of the Frontline Club and supporter of Mr Assange.
