A farmer trapped against a wall by a bull in a Suffolk field is in a stable condition after being airlifted to hospital.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) airlifted the dairy farmer, a man in his 30s, to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital following the incident in Bungay at around 11.45am today.
An EAAA spokesman said the farmer was “pinned against a wall by a bull” before the animal “backed off”, allowing the man to make an emergency call.
He was flown to hospital where his condition was initially described as “life-threatening”.
But the EAAA spokesman later confirmed he had suffered fractured ribs and was in a “stable condition” after making a “very good” recovery.
“It is expected he will make a full recovery after being checked over by doctors,” the spokesman added.
