It might be the hottest week of the year – but that hasn’t stopped one west Suffolk pub getting ready for Christmas.
With 158 days until December 25 and as Suffolk basks in a heat wave The One Bull in Bury St Edmunds has unveiled it’s festive menu.
Manager Naomi Townsend said people were already booking tables to sample wintry treats like Christmas pie, brewshed braised blade of beef and winter vegetable stew.
But for those intent on enjoying the sunshine now, the pub is also serving up Cloudy Summer – a pale ale produced by their own micro-brewery.
