Police have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to after a purse was stolen in a per store in Bury St Edmunds.

The theft happened at about 10am on Friday, February 28, at a shop in Bedingfield Way. The victim left her purse on the counter on the counter beside the till, which is where it was stolen from.

Police want to speak to the man pictured in these images about the incident.

He is white, about 6ft, of medium build, with dark curly hair. He was wearing grey trousers and a purple jumper.

Anybody who knows the man, or has information about the incident, is asked to call the Investigations Management Unit on 101, quoting reference BU/14/545, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
