Bury St Edmunds: Man charged for assaulting police officers at West Suffolk Hospital

A 42-year-old man has been charged with assaulting police officers after an incident in Bury St Edmunds.

The offences occurred at around 8.50pm on Tuesday at West Suffolk Hospital in Hardwick Lane.

David Dixey, of no fixed abode in Bury St Edmunds, has been charged with two counts of assault on a police officer and also charged with using threatening behaviour.

Dixey will appear at West Suffolk Magistrates’ Court today.
