Bury St Edmunds: Road partially closed after woman collapses

A woman collapsing on the edge of the road has caused police to close one lane of Parkway in Bury St Edmunds.

A police car is currently blocking the outside lane of the dual carriageway on the side of the cinema complex as an officer waits for an ambulance to arrive.

The extent of injuries to the woman, who was described as elderly, are as yet unknown.
