Bury Town hosts packed day of activities for today’s game

13:27 22 March 2014

The whole family can enjoy a day out at the football today as Bury Town hosts a packed day of activities.

The family fun day comes on the same week the club announced a new three-year sponsorship deal with Greene King, with the Bury St Edmunds-based brewer playing a key role in today’s activities.

Local group Big Girls Blooze will be entertaining the crowds before and after the club’s game against Bognor Regis at Ram Meadow, while competitions will be taking place with the chance to ‘win your weight in beer’ and one of 50 special edition t-shirts.

Fans can enjoy a curry and a pint for a fiver –with other good grub on sale – while Mark Murphy from BBC Radio Suffolk will be presenting his Life’s a Pitch show live from the ground with Ipswich Town legend Kevin Beattie. There is even a half-price concession for Ipswich Town season ticket holders.

Gates open at noon.
