Buxhall: Fire crews tackle chimney fire

FIRE crews have tackled a chimney fire this afternoon in Buxhall.
One fire engine from Stowmarket was mobilised to reports of a chimney fire at Mill Road, Buxhall, just after 12.10pm.
The crew were in attendance at 12.25pm and used small gear and a set of chimney rods to douse the fire and cool the chimney.
Fire crews have remained at the scene and are making the property safe and checking for hot spots.
