The police helicopter has been used in a search for two people spotted running across private land.

The force was called around 1pm today to the incident in Capel St Mary and also sent dog units to the scene.

They searched for the suspects in the Wenham Lane area of the village but were unable to find them.

The units have now been stood down from the search although some remain there to monitor the scene.
