A child is in hospital after a crash on the A12 near Capel St Mary in the morning rush-hour.

One child suffered neck pain not thought to be serious and was taken to Ipswich Hospital to be checked over.

No one else was injured, an East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said.

Details of the vehicles involved were not released.
