Fire crews are tackling a blaze in Chappel, Essex


Firefighters are tackling a blaze involving propane cylinders in Chappel, Essex.


Two crews from Colchester and one from Halstead are at the incident in a garden in Colchester Road.

They attended at 4.25pm and had the fire surrounded by 5.44pm.

However at 6.10pm the blaze, which has completely engulfed three outbuildings and also spread to nearby trees, was still be tackled.

Firefighters are using two hose reel jets and two main jets to try and extinguish the fire.
