A MOTORIST was taken to hospital after the car he was travelling in struck a church wall.

The incident in Pin Mill Lane, Chelmondiston, saw a car hit a wall surrounding the village Baptist Church at 6.05pm. The male driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries. Police said the road was partially blocked.
