Chelmsford: Agitated shopper throws groceries at Morrisons shop assistant

Police want to identify a woman who was caught on CCTV throwing supermarket goods at a member of staff.

The suspect had become agitated while at the checkout of the Morrisons Local store, in High Street, Chelmsford, before shouting and then throwing items from a shelf at a member of staff.

The incident took place at 12.35pm on February 22. The woman is about 5’5” tall and is in her 40s.

  • Bad news from Cornwall! Very few Essex folk there ,so no real aggressive behaviour.Just throw pasties about when miffed.Mulleys supermarket in Penzance is the last place one would wish to 'cut up rough' in England.Thank our lucky stars that Frinton is in the East.
