Chelmsford/Baddow: A1114 closed following serious crash

Emergency services are at the scene of a crash which has led to the closure of both carriageways of the A1114, Essex Yeomanry Way, Great Baddow.

Police were called at 3.30pm today (Sunday) following a report of a collision involving two cars on the northbound carriageway.

Two drivers have received serious, but not life-threating injuries. Motorists are advised to avoid the area for the next few hours while police investigations are carried out.
