OFFICERS are re-appealing for information after a woman was seriously sexually assaulted in Clacton.

The incident happened at an address in the Agate Road area between 2am and 4am on Sunday.

The woman and a female friend were making their way home from Wahoo nightclub. Two men, who they recognised from the club, followed them.

One man is suspected of assaulting one of the women who was left badly shaken but not injured.

The men were both white and in their early 20s.

One was 6ft 2ins tall, of slim build with dark hair and was wearing a pink or red polo shirt and jeans.

The second man was 5ft 6ins tall, of slim build with short dark hair and a slight moustache. He was wearing a checked shirt and red or blue jeans.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call officers from the North Sexual Offence Investigation Team on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
