Police in Clacton have released an Efit image of a man wanted in connection with an offence of sexual touching of a teenage girl.

On Saturday, February 22 two teenage girls were walking along St Osyth Road near to Lake Walk, Clacton when they were approached by a man described as white, about 5 feet 5-6 inches tall, aged 30-40, slightly tanned skin with a spotty complexion and stubble down the side of his cheeks and under his chin. He had short scruffy brown hair, possibly had an ear piercing in one ear and was wearing a black and brown shirt that had torn holes in the back, black/grey tracksuit bottoms in a shiny material, with a lion going down the side (possibly Puma or Lonsdale). When he walked he slightly leaned to one side.

As they are walking towards town, he asked them where the fishing lake was, they said they didn’t know so he just walked off down Lake Walk.

About two hours later, around 4pm, as the girls were walking up St Osyth Road towards the traffic lights at Coppins Road/ Rush Green Road when they were again approached by the same man who tried to engage them in conversation.

He made inappropriate comments to them and as they tried to quickly walk away from him he grabbed at one of the girls and indecently assaulted her.

Police hope that someone will recognise the description of the man and name him. Anyone who has any information is asked to contact Pc Nikki Heath at Clacton Police Station on 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
