A 50-YEAR-OLD man was assaulted in the street and suffered head injuries, police have said.
The incident happened in Carnarvon Road, in Clacton, around 7.15pm on Saturday.
The attack is believed to have happened between the premises Moving Places and Jiggs. He is currently in a stable condition.
The suspect is described as a white, aged 25, of medium build, and 5ft 7in tall.
He was wearing a dark coloured jacket with light coloured sleeves, dark coloured trousers, dark trainers with a white band around the bottom.
He had a white or cream cap with a peak to the front. He is reported to have left the scene in the direction of Hayes Road.
