Clacton: Woman is rescued from vehicle in St Osyth Road after crash

Crews have saved a woman who was trapped in a vehicle after it was involved in a crash.

Essex County and Fire Rescue received the call at 6.20pm to St Osyth Road, Clacton.

Firefighters used cutting equipment to release the casualty by around 7pm. The woman was placed in the care of the ambulance service.

There is no information currently on her condition.

Former England and Tottenham striker Jimmy Greaves is in intensive care after suffering a severe stroke on Sunday.
