The incident happened in Lexden Road between 7pm last night and 5am this morning.

The culprits forced entry at the rear of the property to get in before stealing a large screen television and jewellery.

Two cars – a white Range Rover, index H1JUS, and black Volkswagen Transporter panel van, index AK59 VNX, with ‘George Tyres Maldon’ written on the side - were also stolen.
