Colchester: Driver fails to stop after crashing into Volkswagen Golf

A motorists was waiting at a junction when she was hit by a vehicle which drove off despite causing “considerable damage”.

The crash happened in Lexden Road, at the junction with the Balkerne Hill and Southway roundabout, Colchester, at around 6.50am on Wednesday.

A vehicle collided into the back of a Volkswagen Golf which was waiting at the junction.

The driver of the Golf suffered minor injuries and “considerable damage” to the car.
