Firefighters extinguish Tiptree Close blaze

Firefighters in Colchester have extinguished a blaze in Tippett Close.

Two fire engines were sent to the kitchen fire just after 8pm this evening, the flames were put out by 8.39pm.

The property was reported to be heavily smoke logged but there have been no casualties.

Fire crews are on the scene of a chimney fire in Woodbridge.
