Colchester: Police seeking woman involved in collision

POLICE in Colchester are keen to speak to a woman who was in collision with a male pedestrian in Tesco’s car park in Highwoods Square, Colchester around 12.20pm on Wednesday January 30.

An “older” woman was driving a small, blue hatchback car when a 50-year-old man from Dovercourt was knocked over.

The woman stopped and spoke to the man, who told her he was fine. However, he later reported the incident to police. He was suffering from bruising.

Pc Richard March said: “I would like the woman involved to contact me. The woman has not committed any offences, but I need to complete a report and would ask her to call me at Stanway response and patrol unit on 101.”
