Police were notified of the incident shortly after 2.30pm
Two people received injuries following a disturbance near flats at John Kavenagh Court, off Magdalen Street in Colchester.
The incident happened just before 8.30pm on June 15 but Essex Police only released details of the disturbance this morning (Sunday July 6).
A man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s both received injuries to their head and face.
Two Colchester men, aged 26 and 35, were arrested after the incident on suspicion of assault and released on paul until July 16 and 17 respectively, pending further enquiries.
