Motorists on the A12 near Colchester faced travel disruption this evening after a lorry broke down at a major junction.

The heavy goods vehicle broke down northbound at the A1232 Ardleigh junction after suffering a tyre puncture at around 3.45pm today.

Engineers worked to remove the lorry and the road was fully reopened by 8.30pm.
