Police are appealing for information following a burglary

Burglars broke into a home and stole items of jewellery including a diamond engagement ring.

The raid happened in Straight Road, Colchester, between 2pm and 4pm on January 2.

The haul also included a gold neckchain, gold bracelet, gold rope necklace and bracelet, gold watch, two diamond rings, plus other rings and chains.
