Colchester: CCTV images of men wanted over assault in town

Police have issued CCTV images of three men they would like to speak to in connection with an assault which took place in Barrack Street, in Colchester at 11pm on Friday December 13, 2013.

Police have issued CCTV images of three men they want to speak to in connection with an assault in Colchester.

The assault took place in Barrack Street, at 11pm on December 13, 2013.

A 30-year-old man had been walking along the road when he was approached by a number of men who confronted him. He was then kicked and punched and suffered cuts and bruises to his face.

A 17-year-old man was arrested at the time and was subsequently cautioned for assault but police are continuing to investigate and want to identify a number of other suspects.

Anyone who recognises any of the men in the images is asked to contact Colchester police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
