An E-fit has been issued by police in Colchester showing a man who stole a cash box from a dental surgery in Bromley Road on May 16.

A man walked into the practice around 11.30am and whilst a member of staff was distracted he took a metal cash box containing a three figure sum of cash.

He has been described as gaunt looking, aged late 20s to early 30s, wearing a white and blue flat peaked cap, a jacket and jeans and he had fair hair.

Anyone who recognises the man is urged to contact investigating officer Pc Shane Wills at Colchester Police Station on 101.
