Colchester: Four arrests made after man stabbed at Liquid nightclub last night

Four people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in Colchester last night.

Around 3.30am police were called to reports of an incident at Liquid nightclub in High Street.

There they arrested a 21 year-old man on suspicion of GBH with intent, a 19 year-old man on suspicion of affray, a 23 year-old man on suspicion of common assault and a 37 year-old woman on suspicion of assaulting a police officer.

All four remain in police custody today and are being questioned by detectives.

As a result of the incident a 27-year-old man received a stab wound.

He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital and is currently in a serious but stable and not life-threatening condition.
