A man has been hit by car in Colchester

A man is in hospital after being hit by a car on the Avenue of Remembrance.


An ambulance was called to the incident at 6.31am, where they assessed and treated the man for potentially serious head and leg injuries.

The man, believed to be 47 years old, was taken to Colchester General Hospital by ambulance.
