Colchester: Men robbed at knifepoint when going to buy car

Two men were robbed at knifepoint after they were lured into a flat under the premise of buying a car.

The men went to an address in Prettygate Road, Colchester at around 6pm on Monday.

They were escorted into a flat where they had their mobile phones and wallets taken from them at knifepoint. The victims suffered minor injuries.

Police are looking for anyone who has information about a silver Volkswagen Golf which may be connected with the address, as well as about three dark-skinned men, all aged about 30 and of medium build with short dark hair.
