Police are appealing for help in tracing a 78-year-old woman from Colchester who has gone missing from her home in Little Horkesley.

Doreen Allum was last seen by her husband at 12.30pm today.

Police are growing increasingly concerned for Doreen, who suffers from health problems.

She is described as white, 5ft, with short grey hair. She was last seen wearing a blue jumper with black tracksuit bottoms. Doreen is known to love walking and has links to Suffolk.

Police are urging anyone who can help to contact Essex Police on 101.
