An ambulance was called to a crash in Colchester

A casualty was taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Colchester.

Ambulance crews were called to Cymbeline Way at around 8.30am after reports of an accident.

The road was partially blocked by the two vehicles and another vehicle which broke down.

An ambulance spokesman said: “We were alerted at 8.29am and one patient has been taken to Colchester General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. One ambulance, officer and response car attended the scene.”
