A woman has gone missing from residential care in Colchester

Police are appealing for help to find 69-year-old Marlyn Gmaj who lives at Severalls House in Boxted Road.

She suffers from mental illness and police are concerned for her welfare. She has not been seen since Friday after failing to return from the local shops at 9.30am.

She is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall with shoulder-length grey hair. She was wearing grey trousers, a brown roll-neck top, pink jacket and peach shoes.

It is believed she may have headed to London.

Anyone with information should call police at Colchester on 101.
