Colchester: Two to appear in court following drug raids

TWO people are due to appear in court next month following police drug raids in Colchester.

Search warrants were executed at three residential properties in the town on Wednesday morning.

A 21-year-old man from Colchester was arrested on Highfields and later charged with being in possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply, possession of a Class B drug and one count of being in possession of a Class A drug. He is currently on police bail until his appearance at Colchester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, December 11.

A 32-year-old man from Colchester was arrested on New Town Road and later charged with one count of being in possession of a Class B drug. He is currently on police bail until his appearance at Colchester Magistrates Court on Tuesday, December 11.

A 29-year-old woman from Colchester was arrested on Hythe Hill and later issued with a police caution after admitting to being in possession of a Class B drug.
