An 84-year-old woman who went missing from Corton has been found safe and well.

Pearl Weaving went missing on Thursday and was last seen catching a bus from the village near Lowestoft at 9pm.

Police said she was found on the bus at the Vancouver Centre in Kings Lynn by the driver at about midnight, having fallen asleep in her seat. She told him she was going to find bed and breakfast to stay in for the night.

She was later found by police officers.

A force spokeswoman thanked the media and members of the public for their assistance.
