A SUSPICIOUS fire has broken out at a bungalow in Creeting St Mary this afternoon.

The blaze, at a property in All Saints Road, was reported at about 1pm and crews from Stowmarket and Needham Market were sent to the scene.

Nobody was inside the property and firefighters used a hose reel jet to put out the flames by 1.45pm.

Fire officers have contacted Suffolk police to investigate the cause of the blaze and the operation is under way.
