A man who was airlifted to hospital after the car he was driving came off the road has suffered no major injuries, a Suffolk police spokesman has said.
The emergency services were sent to the scene of the collision on the A140, just south of Creeting St Mary, at about 9.45am yesterday when it was reported the car, a Toyota RAV4, had ended up in a field.
The air ambulance was also sent to the scene and the man was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where he was described as being in a potentially life-threatening condition.
An investigation team was then sent to the scene to determine what caused the single-vehicle collision.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said the man made a full recovery and suffered just cuts and bruises.
