Emergency calls were made just before 1pm after smoke was spotted pouring from Anglia Labels, on Bull Lane Industrial Park in Acton near Subury.

Crews from Sudbury, Long Melford, Nayland and Ixworth arrived at the scene and were soon backed up by a turntable ladder and support pump from Bury St Edmunds.

Firefighters discovered a fire in the roof and side cladding of the single storey building. They used breathing apparatus and thermal imaging cameras to check the fire had not spread inside the building used for producing self-adhesive labels.
