Orwell Bridge clear after eastbound crash involving lorry and car

Delays have been reported on the Orwell Bridge in Ipswich this morning after a crash.

Suffolk police officers were called at 8.20am to the eastbound carriageway, where a car and a lorry were reported to have been involved in a crash.

A Suffolk police spokesman said the inside lane is blocked of the eastbound carriageway, although traffic is able to move freely in the outside lane.

It is believed that no-one has been seriously injured.

The road was fully re-opened by 10.20am.
