Jennifer-Jayne Stone now lives in Sidcup but grew up in East Anglia – going to the Thorpe St Andrew school in Norfolk.

She was cast as the female lead in a college project being orchestrated by Easton and Otley College.

24-year-old Jennifer, said: “One of my career highlights to date is being J.Lo’s body double in a music video. I didn’t get to meet her but I did chat with Will.i.am and Mick Jagger on the set – Jagger was smaller than I imagined and Will.i.am was really nice – exactly like he is on TV.”

In terms of her future, she added: “I’m not sure what I want to do eventually – one minute I’m dancing on the set of Mr Selfridge, like I was at the start of August, the next I’m in a field working with Easton and Otley, so it’s hard to pinpoint what the future will hold. I do a fair bit of dance teaching at the moment so that’s something I’d like to do more of in the future.”

Staff member Lottie Smith works in the sports department at Easton and Otley and she also starred in the video. She said: “I’ve never done anything like this before – it was good fun – I think the end results will help the college show that we are diverse and down with the kids.”

Stephen Knights, from the Knightshift Dance Company, is a freelance choreographer who also supported this project.

He said: “This is the first time that a lot of my dancers have been involved in something on this scale. The majority are aged 15 and 16 and have been in shows before – but nothing like this. They really enjoyed the experience and we are all looking forward to seeing the results.”

Director of marketing and enterprise at the college, Clare Dyble, said: “This video will form part of a big project that will start later in the year. We can’t wait for people to see it.”
