Ormiston Children and Families Trust is urging its supporters to bake, decorated and sell cakes as part of the charity’s “Bake up a Buzz” week between March 1 and 9.

The scheme, named after mascot Ormi the Bee, has earned the backing of top television chef, Galton Blackiston who has provided recipe cards to help those taking part.

“Ormiston’s work with children and families in East Anglia is vital in ensuring that our region’s future is a happy one, so I would encourage everyone to get baking,” he said.

Registration packs containing everything needed to take part are available from www.ormiston.org/bake or by calling 01473 705046.
