Concerns are growing for the safety a teenage girl who was reported missing from north Essex.

Olivia Castle, 14 and from the Clacton area, was last seen at around midnight on Tuesday,

Essex Police has issued an appeal for help finding the missing teenager.

“We are concerned about Olivia and we want to find her to make sure she is OK,” a police spokesman said.

Olivia is around 5ft 5ins tall with shoulder length brown hair and wears glasses.

She was last seen wearing black leggings and a black long-sleeved top.

Anyone with information about where she might be, is asked to call Clacton Police Station on 101, quoting reference 477 of July 10.

An appeal has been launched to bring home a much-loved mother who has become stranded in Russia after falling desperately ill on a family holiday.

A 75-year-old woman has died after being involved in a crash last week in Felixstowe.

Essex Police are looking to identify a cyclist who died last week in Great Oakley after suffering a cardiac arrest.

The family of a man who reportedly froze to death outside the home he had been evicted from may finally get some answers nine months on.

More people are born on September 26 than any other day of the year, just nine months and 23 days after Christmas.

Authorities have seized £100,000 of cash found hidden inside packs of bed linen at Harwich International Port.

It was a coastguard callout which had all the hallmarks of a dramatic rescue in the making.
