Two men have been arrested following investigations into the activities of Essex escort agency Girls4U.

The arrests were made when officers from the Kent and Essex Serious and Organised Crime Unit executed search warrants early today.

A 38-year-old man from Shoeburyness and a man aged 68 from Brentwood were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to arrange or facilitate the prostitution of a child under the age of 18, intentionally controlling the activities of another in relation to prostitution and supplying Class A and B Drugs.

Both men remain in custody at an Essex police station as enquiries continue.

Anyone with information about the Girls4U website should contact the investigation team on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
