Two people missing from their homes in Essex have been found safe and well today.

Police said 78-year-old Doreen Allum had been reunited with her family after going missing yesterday from her home in Little Horkesley.

Meanwhile, 14-year-old Angjela Ahmetaj has also been found.

Police had been growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of the teenager, who had been missing from her home in Chigwell since August 19 and had not contacted her family since Thursday.

A police spokesman thanked the media and the public for their help with the search.
