Synne Valentina Fische, who lives in student accommodation on the Greenstead estate, Colchester, has made it to the regional heat of the Face of the Globe pageant.

The final will be held in in Disneyland Paris in October with girls from across the world competing for the title.

Synne Valentina, 21, will go up against others in the adult category during the regional heat on August 24, with judges taking in personality as well as looks.

The event raises money for the Rainbow Child Foundation, and the student is collecting sponsorship for the charity which helps underprivileged children.

Synne Valentina said: “I would describe myself as bubbly, outgoing, hardworking and ambitious with a lot drive, and I hope the interviews with judges on the day will show this side of my personality.”
