Police are appealing for information after a man exposed himself on a Suffolk beach on Sunday.

A woman was on the beach with a friend when they noticed the man lying on the beach at Undercliff Road West, Felixstowe, who was exposing himself through a split in his boxer shorts at around 12.30pm-1pm.

The woman shouted at the man and he got up, pulled on grey jogging bottoms and fled.

Police would like to trace the man.

He is described as having either a tanned complexion or possibly being of mixed race, aged between 45 and 50 years old, of slim build, with a shaved/bald head.

He was wearing dirty white split boxer shorts, grey joggers with writing around the bottom of the legs, a white t-shirt and sunglasses.

If you recognise the description of the man or if you have any information about this event, contact Pc Guy Woodward at Felixstowe Police Station on 101 quoting reference FE/14/1041, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

With various names having been ascribed to the gales that plagued Suffolk yesterday morning, there was some confusion as to what the storm was actually called.

The idea was simple: if every woman who had ever been sexually assaulted or harassed posted ‘me too’ online, we might get a sense of the true scale of the problem.
