Four teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of attempted theft after police were called to reports of youths trying car doors in the Kemsley Road area of Felixstowe last night.

Officers attended the area just after 11pm last night, Sunday, January 5, following a report of youths with torches who appeared to be looking into vehicles.

The four – an 18-year-old man, a 16-year-old boy, a 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy – were arrested a short time later.

All four are currently in custody at Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where they are being interviewed by officers.
