The incident took place in Garrison Lane, near Deben High School, at around 9.30pm on Friday.

The girl was walking along when a dark coloured estate or saloon type vehicle pulled up alongside her.

A man in the front passenger seat asked her to get into the car before getting out of the vehicle – the girl then ran off.

The driver of the vehicle, a black male, was not seen clearly and did not speak. The passenger is described as a white male aged in his 40s with a moustache.
