A new TV show is looking for pets with quirky, funny, and embarrassing traits to star in a teatime series.

The producers of Come Dine With Me are on the look for dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, alpacas, hedgehogs, ferrets and guinea pigs to become TV stars.

The show will have a team of qualified vets and behaviourists who will answer owners questions about pets medical and behavioural issues and unique habits.

The show will cover issues from a dog chewing on everything in the house, a parrot with an extreme temperature to a cat with bad dandruff.

Pet owners who are interested in applying are asked to email embrassingpets@shiver.tv or call 0161 952 1756.

A-level results day has arrived and millions of students across the UK will be hitting the refresh button on their UCAS applications.

Police have closed three roads in Ipswich town centre following an assault overnight.

Ipswich today stands at a “crossroads” as police fight back against violence and drug crime.

Two men have been arrested in Lowestoft in connection with unconnected Class A drug offences.

We kick off our Throwback Thursday feature off this week at Portman Road, as Ipswich Town sign the iconic Ian Marshall from Oldham Athletic for a fee around £750,000.

Two men, both from London, were found not guilty of three firearms charges after another man reported being shot at.
